On the blog is a copy of the pictures and videos from the fieldwork trip. In your coursework writeup it is always useful to annotate some photos especially when trying to demonstrate a method of data collection.
There is also a copy of the depth of channel information on excel which can be used to draw channel profiles

There are more Global challenge questions added on a powerpoint to help you revise

Remember there are 2 more sessions before the GC exam. Tuesday afternoon 2/6 and all day wednesday 3/6 make sure you turn up for some of these.

Make sure you revise carefully over the half term. Learn the case studies and as many small examples as you can fit in your heads. Make sure you are confident with all the theory and can produce labelled diagrams as required.

Good luck, and remember you can all do it if you are prepared to work for it

Apologies for missing the lesson on Tuesday
Work required for both classes and additional for the group I only teach twice a week and will not see before the Easter break
Explain how a TNC grows using fig 4.4 in GC book
Then explain the 4 different models that a TNC can develop. Use a table to explain and use examples ie fig 4.41 on P181
Choose one TNC and using clear examples of countries and schemes explain the impacts (+/-) on both the TNC and the country. So you can answer this question:

Evaluate the role of named TNC’s in contributing to globalisation and the global shift of industry

New updated Galapagos powerpoint available with some new questions.

Also the factsheet on the endangered species of the Galapagos needs reading and notes making on the causes of extinction both human and natural.

Don't forget to answer the questions with as much detail as possible and use clear examples.

Start with a definition of an air mass
Find diagram of air masses which affect the UK
Waugh p212 is good (copies in library)
Write a detailed description of each type of air mass, include its source region, its characteristics, including detailed weather in both winter and summer.

Produce a revision sheet identifying what is the Green revolution? what are its advantages and disadvantages?
